THE WISH OF A CHILD, THE BIRTH OF A COMPANY

Hey dad, why do Yankees have candles and not Texans?” asked my then 8 year old daughter referring to the famous Yankee Candles we had been looking at. Funny, but I was asking myself the same question as we continued to shop for gifts. My daughter stated “You know dad, we should make Texas candles!” Little did I know that the business knowledge of an 8 year old would be the driving force behind the launching of The Great Texas Candle Company.

It has always been our desire to love all people as Christ loves the Church. Simply put, we care for all that God puts in our path and it is our hope that our candles will bring a sense of joy and warmth to your home, and serve as a reminder that the hope in Jesus Christ is a bright and burning light.
